Angeblich soll Windows 7 nicht erst im Januar 2010 erscheinen, sondern am 23. Oktober diesen Jahres. Dies bestätigte zumindest Acer UK Geschäftsführer Bobby Watkins im Interview mit Pocket-lint:
“23rd October is the date the Windows 7 will be available. There is a 30 day upgrade time so that customers don’t wait to buy a new computer […]”
