Opera 9.10 RC1 ist verfuegbar

Nach einer zweiwöchigen Pause hat das Desktopteam von Opera am Freitag das Release Candidate 1 (Build 8643) der 9.1-er Version veröffentlicht. Vor Allem der Phishing-Filter und einige Probleme damit wurden überarbeitet und behoben. Trotzdem sollte man das RC1 in ein eigenes Verzeichnis installieren, da ich bereits von Problemen mit OpenBC, CHIP.de und ähnlichem gelesen habe. Der Phishing-Filter befindet sich halt noch in der Testphase und ist keinesfalls ausgereift.

Bekannte Probleme

  • Finnish language files went missing in the package building. (Our finnish localization manager is not too happy..)
  • Gzipped pages are not decoded when loaded from cache, so some pages will sometimes look broken when visited a second time
