Clippy ist tot

Seit 1997 war er in “Microsoft Office Zuhause: Clippy die Büroklammer. Die einen liebten ihn, den anderen ging er auf die Nerven. Ich gehöre zu letzteren :)

Nun ist Clippy, der Officeassistent, “tot”. Microsoft hat den “treuen” Begleiter in/mit dem Launch von Office 2007 vergessen.

AppScout hat Jensen Harris befragt, wie es zu dem “plötzlichen” Tod von Clippy kam.

Geheime Windows Vista Shortcuts nutzen

Vor einigen Tagen hatte ich auf eine Internet Explorer 7 Shortcutliste verwiesen. Nun habe ich eine kleine Liste mit nützlichen Shortcuts für Windows Vista entdeckt, die das Arbeiten am PC, auf dem  Windows Vista installiert ist, angenehmer machen (sollen).

  1. Mittels der [Windows]-Taste und den Zahlentasten [0]-[9] lässt sich die Schnellstartleiste steuern. Diesen Tipp hatte ich bereits in einem anderen Artikel beschrieben.
  2. Mit [Windows] + [Leertaste] kann man die Vista Sidebar in den Vordergrund bringen.
  3. Möchte man im Windows Explorer die Ansicht (Details, Miniaturansicht …) verändern, so scrollt man mit dem Mausrad und hält dabei [Strg] gedrückt.
  4. Mittels [Alt] lässt sich die altbekannte Menüleiste (Datei, Bearbeiten …) sowohl im Windows Explorer als auch im Internet Explorer 7 anzeigen.
  5. Klickt man mit der rechten Maustaste auf eine Datei und hält dabei die [Umsch]-Taste gedrückt, so erscheinen im Kontextmenü die Einträge “Eingabeaufforderung hier öffnen” und “Als Pfad kopieren“.
  6. Das “Windows Mobility Center” kann man mittels [Windows] + [X] öffnen.
